The platform Sprachenlern Babbel (SLweb reported) is now no longer free of charge. This refers unlike in the past not only to the premium offerings.
Babbel is in my opinion one of the best portals for learning languages. Hence the move to fee-based offering is perfectly understandable. And somehow the developers of the platform have indeed come into money.
Would probably also work even if the variant with a free part, we also understand that Babbel simply wants more focus on the content, when wondering about it, how to get the best advertising fades.
